A fabulous English Victorian oak country house letter box with beveled glass windows a tray at the bottom for telegrams and brass mounts with letters to top and slot for posting. Has working lock and key to bottom tray for collecting mail and slots to either side for paper and envelopes. These were often found in large hotels and country houses etc. Outgoing mail would be collected from the box and taken to the local post office. Circa 1890. FREE worldwide delivery.
