An unusual English Victorian novelty brass owl brush wipe nicely moulded with original glass eyes and egg-shaped amethyst coloured glass insert to owls back and some of the original gilding remains. Original brush sits below on brass base circa 1880. Measurements: Height: 3 1/2 (approx 9cm) Diameter of brush: 2 1/4 (approx 5.75cm) Total weight: 106g First one of this model that we have come across would look fabulous on the desk and would make a superb addition to any collection.
