Hidden away in this leather travelling box is a set of cutlery designed for a gentlemans use and often used by Officers on campaigns. The box is unusual being made in a simulated bamboo pattern with a purple velvet lining and comprising of folding knife fork and spoon. The handles are of bone. The fork and spoon are polished nickel the knife has a Sheffield steel blade. There is some rusting on the knife blade and slight cracking of the leather on one end otherwise excellent condition.
