A fabulous English Victorian silver plated folding biscuit/cookie box which sits in frame and has carrying handle. When opened two biscuit compartments with pierced lids are revealed. The lids (which secure the biscuits) fold up to centre to reveal contents and lock into place making the box rigid so it can be easily passed around. Has registered diamond mark for 1876. Worldwide first class tracked and signed for delivery is included in the price. Measurements: Height: 9 (approx 23cm) Length: 8 (approx 20cm) Width: 5 1/2 (approx 14cm) Open length: 11 1/2 (approx 29cm) In good condition - any dark areas are shadows from the photography. There are two very small areas of wear to the inside of one of the compartments which does not detract from the beauty of this item.
