A lovely English Victorian cut glass and silver plated claret jug. The body has diamond shaped cutting with a star cut base and the pouring spout has the head of Bacchus embossed below lip. The handle has beautifully embossed decoration. Circa 1890. FREE worldwide tracked and signed for delivery. Measurements: Height: 11 (approx 27.5cm) Length (handle to spout): 5 1/2 (approx 13.75cm) Diameter across base: 3 3/4 (approx 9.5cm) Total weight: 954g In good condition - any dark areas are shadows from the photography there is no damage to the silver plate and no chips or cracks to glass.
