This is a very rare and unusual novelty coin eating purse. Marked DRGM ( Deutches Reiches Gebrauchs Musterschutz - meaning protected patented design under the Reich Government). When his ear is pressed his mouth opens to accept the coin. It is then swallowed and deposited into the chamois leather pouch which has one or two tiny holes. Finished in brass this is sure to be an object of great amusement and a good talking point! Circa 1900. Circumference approx. 2 1/4
