A unusual Pair of American Confederate Bronze Bookends depicting the last meeting of Robert E Lee and Thomas Jonathan (Stonewall) Jackson. These fine bookends were made in England for the American market and are stamped with the registration number 702169 for 1923. Stamped on the back reads the following: General Robert E Lee born January 19th 1807 Stratford VA. Died October 12th 1870 Lexington VA. Thomas Jonathan Jackson Stonewall Jackson. Born January 21st 1824 Clarksburg VA. Died May 10th 1863. The last meeting of these two great generals shown on the reverse side occurred at Richmond VA.
