The spoon is designed for serving loose leaf tea from a caddy, and it also works well for sugar or spices. This caddy spoon bears full Italian Hallmarks M⍕C, 925, ☆1 BO and is marked for the maker Gianmaria Buccellati. Buccellati is particularly admired for decorative silverwork that combines traditional Italian craftsmanship with highly detailed modelling – circa 1960.
