A Stunning Antique Victorian Silver plated Kettle on Stand resting gracefully on an ornate stand with integrated burner, it was designed to keep tea or water warm at the table - adding not just function but opulence to any setting. The body and lid feature elaborate scrollwork and botanical engravings, skilfully hand-etched. A charming naturalistic touch, the spout, handle, and stand are intricately modelled to resemble asparagus spears- an elegant nod to Victorian design’s fascination with botanical forms. Their textured surface adds visual depth and whimsy, while the sculptural detail offers both beauty and a comfortable grip – circa 1890.
* Once likely a centrepiece at formal teas, now a treasure to display and admire.
