The spoons have shell-shaped bowls with a bright gold-toned wash that gives a luxurious table presentation. Each handle is finished with a small figural terminal of a apostle, lending the set a traditional, ornamental character. The suite is presented in its original presentation case with a green velvet and silk lined interior – circa 1890.
