A Really Splendid Antique Silver Plated Egg Cruet Set comprising of an oval handled stand, six pedestal egg cups and six matching spoons. Its oval tray has a pierced and scalloped border enriched with engraved foliate ornament and also has space to hold six more eggs within beautifully engraved wells located next to each egg cup. The spoons have gilt-toned bowls that provide a warm contrast to the silver-coloured stems and handles – circa 1880.
* Displayed fully assembled, the set has the presence of a small table centrepiece as well as practical function!
