A Splendid Antique Victorian Silver Plated Dinner Gong mounted within a sculptural frame modelled as intertwined rustic branches. The gong face is finished with an ornamental engravings, giving a refined contrast to the naturalistic “twig” framework. A matching striker is included, with a cloth head designed for a clear, resonant strike – circa 1880.
* It works well today as a functional gong, a dramatic hall or dining-room accent, or a talking point on a sideboard. It has a fabulous sound to it!
