A Handsome Scottish Sterling Silver Dirk Kilt Pin whose form takes the design takes the form of a traditional dagger, with a stylised cross guard and a long tapered blade. The handle features an oval green inlay, framed within the silver mount. The blade is set with two rectangular hardstone panels in contrasting tones, giving a strong, graphic look. The reverse is fitted with a sturdy pin and rollover catch suited to wear on a kilt, coat, or heavy knit. Marked ‘RA’ for maker ‘Robert Allison’ and hallmarked for Edinburgh, 1960.
