Pair of Vintage Birks Regency Plate Glass Hurricane Lamps with removable clear glass hurricane shades. Each stand has a broad, weighted foot with a fluted gadroon-style border that gives a classic, architectural profile.
The glass hurricanes are lightly engraved with a flowing vine and grape motif, adding gentle decoration without obscuring the light. These hurricane lamps can be converted to low candlesticks by removing the hurricane shades. The bases are marked ‘Birks Regency Plate’ – circa 1950.
