A Nice Pair of Antique Qing Dynasty hand-painted Rose Medallion teacups and saucers. Crafted in China during the mid-19th century, likely during the Qing Dynasty, these porcelain pieces showcase the hallmark traits of traditional Canton export porcelain - vivid enamels, gilded highlights, and intricate narrative scenes.
Each cup and saucer is adorned with alternating panels of courtly figures and natural elements—birds, butterflies, and florals—all delicately hand-rendered in the famille rose palette. A testament to the craftsmanship and cultural storytelling of the era, these pieces are as collectible as they are beautiful – circa 1850.
