A Pair of Antique Mappin & Webb Silver Plated Bottle Coasters decorated with a repeating neo-classical style border, adding a refined, formal finish. Each coaster has a turned wooden base with concentric rings and a central recessed well for a bottle base to sit securely.
The wooden interiors present as a warm, rich tone, giving a handsome contrast against the bright silver plated rims. The undersides are finished with green felt pads, intended to protect polished furniture and allow smooth placement. The outer mounts are stamped “MAPPIN & WEBB” – circa 1920.
