A Nice Pair of Antique Barker Ellis Silver Plated Candlesticks with removable drip pans. The design is classically proportioned, with a tapering column and a broad, weighted circular base for stability.
Each candlestick features gadrooned detailing to the nozzle and mid-collar, adding crisp definition against the polished surfaces. The removable drip pans allow for a neat presentation when in use and give the set a more formal, dressed table look. Marked for the renowned maker ‘Barker Ellis’ – circa 1920.
* A well-made pair of candlesticks like this instantly gives a table the feel of an occasion.
