A superb example of Victorian tableware, these tongs feature elaborately cast handles in a laurel wreath motif and beautifully engraved arms terminating in stylized spoon-shaped ends. Both decorative and practical, this piece is a rare blend of charm and craftsmanship. Hallmarked for Chester, 1896.
