A Nice Pair of Antique Victorian Silver Wine Bottle Coasters with pierced rims adorned with clusters of grapes and curling vine leaves. The romantic vineyard motif was a popular decorative theme in late Victorian or Edwardian silverwork - an elegant nod to the art of the vineyard. Each coaster is fitted with a smoothly finished, concentric wooden base that provides a warm contrast to the polished silver – circa 1890.
