A Nice George V Glass Whisky Noggin with Sterling Silver Mount. A Whiskey Noggin is a small personal decanter traditionally used for serving a single measure of whisky - combining functional charm with refined craftsmanship. Made from glass and topped with a hallmarked sterling silver collar and hinged lid, it was crafted by the renowned silversmiths Hukin & Heath in Birmingham in 1922. A suspended sterling silver label reading "Whisky" completes the piece.

Diameter of base: 2 1/2" (approx. 6.5cm)

Total weight: 160g

 

In good condition – Silver collar retains its shine and shows minimal tarnish. Glass is clear and bright with a few internal age marks near the neck, typical of use and time. Lid hinge is functional and closes securely.
