A Nice Cut Glass Dressing Table Jar with Sterling Silver pull off lid. The glass body is deeply cut with a repeating diamond and crosshatch pattern that catches the light beautifully. The lid is richly decorated in high relief with scrolling foliate work and a shaped central cartouche for engraving if desired. It would suit use as a vanity jar for cold cream, powder, salts, or small trinkets, depending on preference. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1989.
