A Lovely Pair of Antique Victorian Silver Plated Napkin Rings formed as a polished band with simple engraved line detail and a vacant cartouche panel to the top. A standing girl figure is attached to each ring, modelled in period dress with a hat and detailed drapery folds. A textured dog figure is applied to the opposite side, creating a charming narrative “girl and dog” theme typical of Victorian novelty tableware. Marked with Registration Number ‘168938’ for the year 1891.
* Victorian tableware often carried a sense of humour, and these little figures capture that perfectly.
