A Lovely Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot formed with a pierced, repeating fretwork body set over a rich cobalt blue glass liner. The hinged lid sits neatly within the rim and is finished with a shaped thumbpiece for easy opening at the table. A sturdy curved handle makes it comfortable to lift and serve, whether used for mustard, preserves, or chutney. Hallmarked for Sheffield, 1900.
* The pierced gallery allows the blue glass to glow through the silverwork, creating a particularly handsome contrast in natural light.
