A Lovely Antique Victorian Royal Doulton Biscuit Barrel beautifully adorned in flow blue and finished with delicate gilded floral detailing. This charming piece is topped with a polished silver plated lid and handle, completing the refined look of a quintessential Victorian–Edwardian era biscuit jar.
Deep cobalt panels with classic flow blue decoration - a prized Victorian technique where the blue glaze gently bleeds into the porcelain. Panels alternate with raised honeycomb texture and intricate hand-applied gilt floral overlays, creating rich contrast and a tactile surface – circa 1890.
