A Lovely Antique Silver Plated Wine Funnel With Strainer designed for decanting and filtering wine as it is poured. A removable pierced strainer insert fits into the top, intended to catch sediment or cork fragments. A side ring handle provides a secure grip when lifting and also allows the funnel to be hung on a stand or peg. A classic piece of wine service that turns decanting into a more deliberate, traditional ritual. Marked for the renowned maker ‘William Hutton & Sons’ – circa 1905.
