Lovely Antique Brass Box with Bear Finial – circa 1920

A Lovely Antique Brass Box topped with a charmingly detailed bear figure holding a staff. The bear sits proudly on the lid, its fur and expression carefully rendered, bringing character and life to the piece. Such figural boxes were popular in the late 19th to early 20th century and often served as novelty desk or dressing table accessories.
