Antique Art Deco Sterling Silver Sauce Boats Birmingham 1926 Boxed Pair

An elegant pair of Art Deco sterling silver sauce boats, hallmarked Birmingham 1926, presented in a fitted black case. Each features an elongated pouring lip, decorative beaded rim, graceful scroll handle and stepped oval foot.

The unusually long, slender shape is what makes this pair so appealing, giving them a distinctive silhouette quite different from the more traditional rounded sauce boat. The fitted presentation case adds a lovely finishing touch, although it has clearly had a rather hard life and is in very worn condition.
