An elegant twelve-piece dessert set dating to 1911, comprising six sterling silver knives and six matching forks with lustrous mother of pearl handles. The knives have gently pointed blades, while the forks feature three slender prongs, giving the set a refined and balanced appearance.
Presented in a fitted wooden case lined with deep purple velvet, with brass fittings, a decorative brass cartouche to the lid and a retailer's label for Kemp Bros., Silversmiths, Bristol. A lovely set for serving desserts or fruit, equally appealing as an addition to a collection of antique silver.
Measurements: Length of Knife: 6 3/4" (approx. 17cm) Length of Fork: 5 1/4" (approx. 13cm) Total weight of set including box: 1077g
In good condition – The silver shows only light surface wear consistent with age and careful handling. There are no chips or cracks to the mother of pearl.
