An attractive antique Georgian mahogany cutlery box dating to circa 1820, featuring a rectangular open-top design with three long compartments separated by wooden dividers. A gently curved brass carrying handle spans the central compartment, providing both a practical feature and an appealing contrast against the rich mahogany.
The box has a simple, purposeful design, with raised sides, subtly rounded upper edges and neatly constructed corners with visible dovetail joints. The warm tones of the mahogany and the understated brass handle give it plenty of character without unnecessary ornamentation.
