An attractive antique Victorian brass and enamel picture frame, dating to circa 1880, featuring an elegant arched top and a decorative geometric border. The warm golden brass is embellished with fine black enamel lines, small diamond-shaped motifs and regularly spaced white enamel dots, creating a pleasing contrast of colour and detail.
The frame has a simple yet distinctive design, with softly rounded upper corners and a straight lower edge. The reverse features a burgundy fabric backing and a decorative brass easel stand with curled feet, allowing it to be displayed on a desk, mantelpiece or side table. A charming little frame, ideal for displaying a treasured photograph or portrait.
