A characterful silver plated and enamel cocktail stick set dating to circa 1925, comprising six long two-pronged sticks presented in a fitted case. Each piece is topped with a colourful enamel pub sign, individually decorated with a different pictorial motif including a swan, rising sun, crossed keys, lion, bell and floral emblem.
The reverse of each sign is named to match its design, including The Swan Inn, The Rising Sun, The Cross Keys, The Red Lion, The Bell Inn and The Rose and Crown. The enamel plaques are framed by small architectural-style borders with curled detail, giving each stick the appearance of a miniature hanging pub sign. We particularly like the way the six different designs work together as a set, bringing plenty of colour and personality to your drinks!
Presented together in the fitted black case, they make an engaging piece of entertaining ware. Ideal for serving olives, fruit or cocktail garnishes, they would also make a distinctive display piece for a drinks cabinet or bar collection.
