Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Trumpet Epergne Centrepiece – circa 1905

A Splendid Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Epergne Centrepiece formed with four removable trumpet-shaped flower vases arranged around an elegant scrolling frame.

Each trumpet vase has a flared, shaped rim with pronounced scrolling edges that give the piece a lively and sculptural appearance. The tapering trumpet bodies are decorated with delicate engraved floral sprays and scrolling ornament.

Openwork supports and sweeping S-shaped scrolls create an airy framework around the central stem. The shaped base is engraved with fine floral and foliate decoration and stands on small rounded feet – circa 1905.

* The tall central vase creates an impressive focal point while the three lower trumpets provide balance and symmetry!
