A Nice Antique Edwardian Walker & Hall Silver Plated Bread Basket with a generous oval body formed with deeply fluted decoration that creates a particularly rich play of light across the polished surface. The two substantial handles are modelled with naturalistic leaves, stems and berry clusters, giving the piece an appealing botanical influence.
Ornamental openwork supports beneath the body terminate in four finely detailed paw feet. The basket is accompanied by an attractive three-pronged serving fork with a pale mother-of-pearl handle and decorative silver plated mounts – circa 1905.
