A nice Vintage Blue And White Lidded Ceramic Jar made for Ringtons and produced by Maling Ware in England. The lid is decorated with a detailed view of Windsor Castle, framed by an ornamental border. Each side is decorated with a different architectural view of a British castle, creating interest as the jar is turned.
The rich cobalt-blue transfer decoration contrasts effectively with the pale ceramic body and gives the piece a classic English blue-and-white appearance. The underside bears a printed Ringtons-related factory scene and the wording “Maling Ware England” – circa 1925.
