A Lovely Pair of Antique Barker Ellis Silver Plated Wine Bottle Coasters with turned wooden interior bases. Each coaster has a circular form with a broad silver plated body and a decorative gadrooned rim.
The dark wooden centres are turned with concentric rings and provide a warm contrast against the bright silver plated surrounds. The undersides are finished with green felt, helping to protect table surfaces during use. Marked “Barker-Ellis” together with “Made in England”, confirming English manufacture by a renowned maker - circa 1925.
