Art Deco Silver Plated Folding Three-Tier Sandwich Tray – circa 1925

A Fantastic Art Deco Silver Plated Folding Three-Tier Sandwich Tray designed with three circular dishes arranged around a hinged central frame. The piece opens to create a practical three-level presentation stand and folds down into a compact circular form for storage.

A tall arched carrying handle rises through the centre when the stand is opened, giving the piece a particularly elegant and functional silhouette. Each circular dish has a plain polished centre with a softly raised rim. The stand would have been suitable for presenting cakes, pastries, sandwiches, biscuits or other small refreshments at the table or even at picnics – circa 1925.
