Antique Silver Plated Bread Basket And Decorative Fork – circa 1920

A Nice Antique Silver Plated Bread Basket serving set comprising an oval silver plated bread basket together with a decorative three-pronged bread fork with mother of pearl handle. The basket has a broad oval form with integral cut-out handles positioned at either end for practical lifting and presentation.

Its raised border is richly decorated with scrolling foliate ornament that gives the piece a distinctly traditional appearance and the side feature cut out decoration – circa 1920.

* Displayed together, the basket and fork create a particularly decorative centrepiece for bread, rolls or pastries!
