A Nice George V Sterling Silver And Glass Whisky Noggin with a hinged cover and suspended sterling silver label reading ‘Whisky’. The clear glass body has a tapering conical form with an applied loop handle.
A star-cut motif decorates the underside and adds brightness when the vessel is displayed or filled. The upper section is fitted with a silver collar and a shaped hinged lid extending into a practical pouring lip. The silver collar is hallmarked for Chester, 1935 – the same year as the Silver Jubilee of King George V! The sterling silver label is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1935.

In good condition – The silver shows only light surface wear consistent with age and gentle use. There are no chips or cracks to the glass.
