Splendid French Silver Magnifying Glass With Figural Lion Handle – circa 1870

A Really Splendid French Silver Magnifying Glass. The substantial silver handle is worked in high relief with a standing lion figure holding an ornamental shield. The handle is fitted to a later dated, nickel plated surround magnifying glass. The handle is marked with the French Minerva Head for silver items – circa 1870.
