A Lovely Antique Edwardian Silver-Plated Biscuit Barrel featuring a cylindrical body raised on three ball feet. The exterior is nicely engraved with ferns, flowers and scrolling foliage arranged around a central vacant cartouche.

A broad circular platform surrounds the body and carries a coordinating engraved fern border. The hinged lid is decorated with a circular arrangement of floral and foliate engraving. A raised finial with detailed ornamental bands provides a practical and attractive handle – circa
