Antique Victorian Brass Letter Rack With Heraldic Griffin Decoration – circa 1890

A Nice Antique Victorian Brass Letter Rack with a warm golden finish and naturally darkened recesses. The design features two pierced upright divisions arranged above a rectangular platform base. Each division is ornamented with opposing heraldic griffin-like creatures surrounding a central fleur-de-lis motif. The stepped base is bordered with repeating leaf ornament and stands upon four shaped bracket feet – circa 1890.
