A Gorgeous Small Art Deco Sterling Silver Topped Cut Glass Jar. The lid is decorated with vivid blue guilloche enamel worked in a flowing wave starburst pattern. The silver lid lifts away from the glass body to reveal a gilt-finished interior. Its rectangular form has softly rounded corners that reflect the streamlined character of the Art Deco period. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1937.
