This Pen and ink Gourd has been decorated with the American flag American Eagle and also has a picture of a whaling ship hunting a whale. There is some ware to the pen work as you can see from the image but is still a fabulous thing. It was made for a GW Riley and is dated 1872. Possible research project? Height is approx. 10 x 6.
