A Really Gorgeous Sterling Silver Oval Photo Frame with an elaborate repoussé border and a fitted easel back. The surround is richly worked with scrolling foliage and stylised birds in relief, giving the piece strong depth and texture. A theatrical mask motif is also incorporated into the border, adding an engaging decorative flourish and a slightly whimsical note.
The reverse is finished with a dark velvet-covered back and a hinged stand for tabletop display. Hallmarked for Birmingham, 1988.
