A Gorgeous Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Covered Jar / Ginger Jar richly decorated in the classic palette of iron red and cobalt blue on a white ground. The design features a vibrant scene of blossoming cherry branches with stylised floral panels and geometric borders - a beautiful example of traditional Imari ware artistry from the Meiji period (circa 1890–1910).
The jar’s domed lid with a pointed knop finial mirrors the body’s decorative motifs, completing its balanced and elegant form. A timeless piece of Japanese porcelain that brings both beauty and heritage to any interior – circa 1880.
