A Really Fabulous Minton Blue and White China Tray in the Delft pattern. The shape is an elongated octagon with squared handle-like terminals, giving it a smart, architectural profile.
The decoration is transfer-printed in cobalt blue, with scrolling florals arranged around the well. The gilded edging provides a restrained contrast against the white ground and emphasises the faceted outline. Marked ‘Minton’ for the renowned maker – circa 1880.
