A Fabulous Middle Eastern Silver Inlaid Bronze Dish with Arabic Calligraphy. The front is centred with a roundel of flowing script and scrolling foliate motifs, framed by panels of Arabic calligraphy. A rope-twist border around the rim provides a crisp, finished edge – circa 1850.
* The silver inlay catches the light in a way that makes the calligraphy feel almost drawn across the surface.
