A Fabulous Antique Victorian Brass Dinner Gong featuring a finely cast cherub flanked by peacocks, this freestanding gong includes its original striker and is mounted in a scrollwork frame bursting with floral, foliate, and Rococo flourishes. The engraved gong face bears a stunning arrangement of five feather plumes tied with a ribbon - possibly an allusion to nobility or family crests. Marked ‘JGS’ for renowned maker George Jones and Sons.
