A Really Fabulous and Rare Antique Novelty Condiment Cruet Set presented in a wheeled trolley stand, designed as miniature barrel forms. The silver plated metal stand has four decorative wheels and a looped pull ebony handle. The three containers are constructed with oak clad bodies banded with silver plated hoops and small stud details. The silver plated interiors are gilt washed. The three containers consist of a pepper pot, a salt pot and a larger lidded mustard pot with spoon. Marked with the British Registry Design Number for the year 1872.
