An Exceptional Antique Edwardian Drinks Tray with gallery border fashioned in silver plate and finely pierced with a series of vertical cut-outs that give the piece a lightness of appearance. The gallery is finished with well-formed handles to either side. The tray surface is veneered in richly figured mahogany, polished to a warm sheen. The craftsmanship is highlighted by a central oval inlay in the form of a radiating fan motif, set in lighter and darker woods to create a striking contrast – circa 1905.
